Default New noise

Ok...I`ve had a front end nightmare recently (spent over £400 ) The lastest drama......I had a grinding noise on the front passenger corner and the garage diagnosed outer cv as it was full of water and not full of grease . I bought a complete shaft and had that fitted and the horrible noise has gone but now it seems to be making a `rotational` squeak quite often. It`s bloody embarrassing driving round. Surely I haven`t another bad one??? I can`t be THAT unlucky

Haha. I would if the noise was just inside. I reckon I`ve just swapped one knackered one for another!

Perhaps the hub bearing got fubar'd through lack of grease?

Dunno. It`s just odd how one noise has gone and a different one has started. I think I`m gonna get this sorted and get shot of it. It`s one thing after another, getting a bit silly now.

does it stop squeaking when braking? And is it definitely that same corner? I reckon its something to do with brakes.

No it only stops when the car stops. It`s also grinding now too. It`s worse than the old one. I`ll have to get the old one refitted tomorrow as I have work on Thursday.

I`ve had the old one put back on and the awful noise has gone. So, I was sold a fooked shaft!
