Default why do women insist (rant)

I ,like most, live from pay packet to pay packet, and my pride and joy is my ****ty uk turbo 2000 .

my misses wants to get married and the first thing after i said lets start saving was ,you guessed it sell the scooby...

like most my misses works part time i do shift work which is 4 on 4 off 12 hr shifts i.e 48 hrs a week ,
i pay all the bills except the food budget she pays this ..
I also do the odd car repair and service as well to top up my pocket money so i do more than 48 hrs a week some or most weeks

so i think i am in every right to say !!! fXXk off ,it would take me years to save up for another and i would want a blob or hawk eye next

so i will let you no the outcome in the next few weeks ,but the scooby is staying woman so get used to it ,do more than 15hrs a week or find a better job

rant over

thanks guys for listening

4 on 4 off works out at 40 hrs a week doesn't it? Tell your Mrs you cocked up the calculations and she HAS TO work another 8 hrs a week so you can keep the Impreza. Then when she shaking with anger, slap her **** and plug it in. Enjoy the ride! Use lube though.

Does seem a bit unfair to be honest. Some women do appreciate rather than tolerate their man's car but they do appear to be a rarity.

She defo needs to put more hours in!

Legitimate rant btw

Same here, no vices or spend other than the car. She backed off after that.

My other half has been talking about buying a house lately and hinted towards selling the toy to aid the move. I even started to come round to the idea, maybe put the money into another house and then once settled I could buy another.

Well this is what the car looked like this morning...

Dropped it off at the paint shop today for a freshen up. So no mrs, not selling it...!!!!
If the savings in the bank aren't enough then we'll stay where we are, end of !

Carl, all women want everything NOW, if you love each other what's a couple of years matter. Save up a few quid and marry her then. If you sell your pride and joy to fund a wedding you won't appreciate the day as much.
Failing that, I'll lend ya the money but at 500%apr ...lol...

Well I've been around the block and made a bob or two so

Never give in to a woman especially at an early stage of a relationship
If you sell the Scooby you might get under £2000- £5000 maybe less ?
That would not buy much for a wedding /house /furniture and you would NEVER be able to save up for another Scooby ever

So unless others have said she's a dirty girl in bed the answer is no
Scooby stays
and she has to work extra hours if you do 40 hours so should she that's only fair
Plenty of women out there not many classic turbos left
Of course pictures could change our opinions

Why do you need a wagon to have a family?

i would never get rid of my motor to keep a woman. my ex moaned non stop about me having sports cars instead of a "family" car so i went out and bought my first scooby lol justified it by saying it has 4 doors and a boot so covered the family bit and with it been a scooby covered my sporty bit so perfect compromise! she didnt see the funny side and f@cked off anyway so dont bother! tell her to get a better job the lazy cow

I just upgrade her car or book a holiday for us, she soon forgets about wanting me to sell my scooby I'm on my 5th scooby now so if I sell it another will conveniently turn up on the drive.

Lets be honest.. How much would you get for the classic? 5k max? (im being generous)
So that's about 2k towards the wedding and then £3k for another car as you will need one.

Selling the scooby won't help you. after you buy a cheaper car with unknown faults, transfer the insurance etc .

mate my beautiful wife is long gone thank god, i worked like a ****ing dog doing 2 jobs working over 80 hours some weeks, i dont drink, smoke or drugs etc,

i gave her the wedding she wanted i paid much more into the house mortgage etc, subed her when she was short at the end of the month.

she left for another guy enough said,

keep the scoob if she loves you she will stay around, if she dont she will soon be off to suck the next fella dry.

why cant they see that if some thing makes you happy, you will be happier in life and so nicer to be round?

rant over lol

girls can be very fickle about a guy and hes car,a girl sees a car as to some extent as a challenge he loves me or that dam car, crazy i know but they seem to base the idea on if he really cares he will make the ultimate sacrifice and get rid of that other bitch with the drinking problem. id keep the car, and if she does care she will stay put- simples.

Thats why i asked the question because Wagons are not much bigger than a saloon, in fact they are the original 'hatch' rather than an estate.
