Go back to the mapper and get him to check it. That's what you paid for. He will find the fault a lot quicker than you could.

up to you if you want to throw a new coil pack and maf on it or find out from the mapper if its boost cut/fuel pump etc. Your choice, we can only advise.

ah, that makes it a lot easier to diagnose.

Replace the fuel pump
Replace the maf
Replace the coilpacks and leads
clean the boost control solenoid
check the turbo actuator
then contact the mapper.

nice attitude. Maybe you'll take the hint that 119 people have viewed this thread and only 2 or 3 have offered advice. I've given you a GENUINE list of things to check, if you want to go down that route its up to you.

Based on what you've posted, its an accurate diagnosis.

Peter, has it ever had a new fuel pump? what you describe sounds like fuel starvation, which is NOT good as it causes the mixture to go lean, and THEN you get the dreaded det, which kills Scoob engines quicker than you can type about it

Yes new hrc pump rest of the mods are
Full 3"decat
650cc injectors
Td05-20g andyf
Aps induction
Silicone intake
Mapping went fine and it only does it with full(open)throttle not when i accelerate normally
Andy thinks overboosting or intake sucking suck

The only things changed from last map are the turbo and silicone intake and the car made 396bhp 370ft/lb torque

Am I reading this correct Peter?

You had it mapped, then changed the turbo and inlet pipe?

thats good chap, at least you didnt try self-fixing it by spending money and replacing un-necessary parts. Got there in the end and it didnt cost an arm and a leg.

No worries fella, glad you got sorted. I understand the frustration, cars are a "mans" thing and when they go wrong we all think "its gotta be something simple" but then when its not you start tearing ya hair out and the toys go out the pram.

Unfortunately, these cars arent like the old skool cars where there are only a few things that can go wrong. 1 thing can lead to another, and another and thats what I was trying to steer you away from. Theres soooo many people on here who post up once theyre £500 out of pocket and still aint fixed it so at least you did the right thing and asked 1st.

Hopefully you'll notice a difference after the tweek as you've not been getting full potential yet
