What are you on about?

I get 36mpg regularly and I check every time I fill up, always to the brim. I'd only get that if I did very short trips like 2 miles.

36mpg !!!!!

Wouldn't want to be stuck behind you on a long journey. Only way your getting that is by driving long distance at crawling pace.
I've had a sport through my hands (unfortunately) and can safely say I got nowhere near that figure. My wife also didn't get above 30 and she drives like my grandfather.

OP, did the insurance rise much after all the mods ?

It went up a bit, but I think I made the mistake of going with a mainstream insurer, when I changed to a-plan this year I realised how much over the odds I was paying. The reason I went for the sport was I had a pretty bad accident a few years back so didn't think id have a hope in hell of being insured on a turbo.

Don't know what you did to yours then but I can manage that figure staying at 70+ on the motorway.
