what classic, what year and what's on it at the moment?

I'd be dropping Ian at Godspeed an e-mail asking what he can do for you.

O.K.
Talking about any caliper, the mg f trophy/160 tf, used ap 4 pot calipers and 304mm discs.
Is there any sense in trying to install them on a classic, instead of subaru 4pots; as I want to keep 16" wheels. Are orange stuff pads available for the mg ap caliper?
Or should I just get a set of your reconditioned 4pots with stainless pistons?
Just a thought.

No the MG caliper have small pistons as they are designed for a rear engine small car , those calipers would be no good on the front of an Impreza.

The Subaru calipers would certainly work a lot better than having the MG calipers fitted.

We have done loads of kits to fit under the later classic 16" wheels , we used to sell kits with the Grand Turismo brembo calipers , these calipers are fitted to the Seat Ibiza and Leons and come up quite often on ebay , something like the Megane and Clio Brembo calipers could be used as well , but to fit these onto a 300+mm disc would require a disc and bell as there is nothing off the shelf that would fit

Cheers Ian

Discs , bells and brackets would be £550, we can make brackets to suit most calipers , try and get radially mounted calipers if you can , as some lug mounted ones wouldn't fit in the space available
Cheers Ian
