Red face

My Mom called me earlier to check it wasn't me who had my scoob hi-jacked at a set of traffic lights.

Apparently, it was on the local radio this morning. The car was valued at 38K.

I Hope whoever's car it was is OK and wasn't too badly affected by the ordeal. More so - I hope the scum who theived it got caught. Personally, I'd cut their hands off!

Anyone know who's motor it was?

Glad I always use the Auto-Lock feature on my car. I have to admit to feeling a little insecure in it at times.

Regards

£38k.......sounds like a 22B or something pretty special to me......I have an extra feature on my scoob which on starting the car with all doors closed, automatically locks up....I know it aint a new thing but gives peace of mind.....the saying's true thugh, if the scumbags want it they'll get it no matter what.

Cool

I always lock my doors before I start the car. Force of habit.

Hope you all lock your doors while driving now - standard police advice in a lot of areas so I believe. £38k for a scoob though, haven't they checked Parkers recently??

Oh ........... I have just cr4pped myself!!!!!!

COME ON - if you are scared stiff - BUY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!

I am sure I can smell the fear on here sometimes

If someone wants my car they can have it - they had better be more than two of them and they had better be 'tooled-up' too!!

They will only try it on with someone who looks like they couldnt defend themselves - they will NEVER try it on if there is the remotest chance that they may get hurt, they are cowards after all

So if you look like Mr Muscles then you may have trouble - sorry

Pete

Just seen that it was an armed vilian!! well, he can have my car too - in fact, I will post it to him!

I know on some Aston Martins, there is an anti hi-jack feature which involves a hidden foot switch or something.

It makes the car cut out after a minute or so of motoring (only once it reaches a speed safe to cut out though).

In my opinion, if lives are at stake, give them the car - you can always get another.

Red-mist and/or bravado can cost lives.

Just not worth it.

Anti-car-jacking feature or not if a psycho has a gun and tells you to make the car work, you're going to turn it off.

The idea is that the car cuts out when they are far enought away from you.
