Subaru, and the Impreza especially, are usually strong performers in this survey, so it's no surprise to see the car again in the top 10 of its class. However, some degree of dissatisfaction is starting to be seen. Although interior quality was rated as excellent, owners were less happy with its appeal. With models such as the turbo in the range, there's no surprise to see performance also rated as excellent, but the Impreza's biggest problem is its running costs - it's one of only three cars in this class to be rated poor in this respect.
