Isn't blob sti pop 301bhp? And yeah I thought the same. 1.4 bar does seem a little steep for standard. Not that I'm clued up on this subject.
I asked this question the other day in another section of the forum. I have an 03 Sti type uk PPP and have fitted a psi3 monitor. It says I'm boosting to 1.37 bar peak in 3rd gear and I thought that was a tad high for just a PPP.
Mine was live mapped a few week ago and is running 1.4 / 20.3psi
i believe ?.Andy the mapper said that the car would be fine at this.
Mine is a 2005 STI PPP,now runs 337/340 smooth as silk.I am made
up with it.Saying that,i'm 50 and don't hammer the car and probably
have only touched a bar since having it done.
That's what I thought, 1.1 for standard non ppp and 1.3 tailing off to 1.1 at higher revs on the ppp STi and yep quite a difference between the ppp and EcuTek/open source map the latter gives you approx 40bhp more.
Yes Andy carr and yes the car feels a lot smoother, plus a few
extra horses and miles per gallon.I'm well made up with it.
Coming from 8 years of ownership of a RS focus the Subaru feels
an allround better car.The focus was a great car but i have fell
well in love with the Subaru as a daily drive.I only do 60 miles
a week to work and back, but enjoy every trip.
