I've had both front lower links changed on my 52 plate WRX wagon. Interestingly, they noticed that my subframe was also corroded. I got a phone call today from the main stealer and they want me to bring the car in to be photographed. Be interesting to see what happens!

Jap cars have always been rust buckets. They need unsealing properly from new then every 2 or 3 years there after imo.

Is the recall for all new age, or just wagons? I've not had any contact regarding my 2004 STI saloon, even though I am the original owner.

Just had mine checked, nothing wrong, was in and out in 30 minutes. Will check underneath myself to see what all the fuss was about.

Further to my last post of 6th March, local Subaru main stealer DID replace my subframe FOC. So that's new front wishbones and a subframe on a 10+ years old car without having to put my hand in my pocket, apart from the squirt I used getting there and back. Quite unbelievable!
