I've been looking at those fancy alloy rads off eBay but not sure what they are like.

I also own a 94jdm and when my original rad developed a leak this winter I bought a ToyoSport alloy rad for £80 new. Excellent quality Rad and easy fit. If you have a FMIC it could be a bit tight near your pipe work due to the rad is a bit thicker an the standard item.

They do look pretty good to be honest but you know what it's like with eBay.
May be worth a punt then as they are not that expensive.

I went for one of those 60-odd quid ebay rads, and it worked great. had to drill an extra hole in the metal cover on top of it for the slam pannel mount but no problem. engine ran consistantly a couple of degrees C cooler then my old rad (before it sprang a leak! )
