i meet some one through work who used one and reckoned it is pretty good but he is the only one i have meet so far to use one, i use a three dongle and that is ok for general surfing in Essex but when off to the more rural area's there is no signal.

The forums on Three talk about issues using MiFi for on line gaming apparently it isnt suitable for a technical reason so worth checking that out if you want to do that.

I had one of their huawei mifi dongles and the coverage was pretty good, a few sketchy places oop north but even then you could usually still get 3g coverage.

Well I dived in and got one.

So far, far better than the POS mobile broadband I had from Orange (crap software, crashy dongle, rubbish speeds).

The Mifi is ultra fast around central London. On the train back to York, stable and fast. Very impressed. Also got a 15GB allowance which is way beyond what other providers are offering. I probably only use 3-5gb, but even that is twice the price with Orange and a fraction of the speed.

Only issue so far is that Port 25 is blocked so it took me a little while to find an open port for sending email (my smtp is btinternet).

Up and running now - all good. 9/10

Hi Trout so how fast is it running?

i was in a three shop last night and they were teling me the best deal for the Mifi is £49.95 with a monthly rolling contract of 5Gb for £15.99 which to be honest is cheaper than anyother broadband/line rental agreement or Virgin at £22.50 for cheapest broad band so might go for the Mifi.
