Default Blob to Bug rear lights ?

Hi all
I have been offered some Blobeye rear lights for my Bugeye but want to check if they would fit ?
I've had some say yes and others no but I just want to be sure. I don't mind a little trim if need be. If anyone knows for definate and has done it to their car and has some pics that would be greatly appreciated ?
Cheers 😉

You need to remove a small piece of rubber under the 'half-moon' part of the lights and hey presto

Looking out the window now dont think the rear bumber on a bug will accept the bottom of the light, I could be wrong?

Just make sure you have the bulb holders as one of the bugeye ones is different so it wont fit the blobeye lights.
