looking at buying this for a winter project what u think? he wants £1200 for it on buy it now worth it or not as there are loads around at the min but not many STI's

putting the vf29 on probably didnt help what ever a vf29 is without a map tweak

Worth it or not is up to you chap, are you willing to spend a grand(ish) on an sti bottom end for it, gaskets, cambelt kit, fluids etc? Then you'll need a map/health check etc so by the time you're done you could be looking at upwards of 2.5k.

For £1200 I'd say its worth it as a breaker, otherwise it may end up as a more of a money pit than you think.

no, not worth £1200 unless you're going to break it as you could buy a running with similar spec for less than 3k.

If the coilovers arent knocking, turbo is in good condition and you get buyers for the spoiler, wheels, facelift bonnet, gearbox, lights etc then I would say 2k+
