Default gadget holders

hi,i have a universal holder for a mobile phone but use it for apexi hand commander,i was wondering if anyone knows of any similar holder that again fits to heater vents or similar to hold a apexi avcr, the unit is quite wide and im trying to sort out a good secure place on the dash to put it.
any ideas?

Turn the holder round so it grips the unit top to bottom rather then left to right. Hope that makes sense lol

it fits the heater vents but there is no way it can hold the avcr at the top and bottom and be secure,

if i mounted it there i would not be able to get to the buttons on the top of the stereo.

a heater vent universal holder is ideal but cant find one that opens wide enough for the avcr.

Use the Apexi stand supplied with the AVCR. It will fit in the little tray area infront of the gear stick. The AVCR sticks to the stand and it can be tilted up or down.

i didnt really want to use that little tray as its very handy to have, what a pain in the ****!id like to fit it either in the dash if i can,ill have to have a proper look and see if i can custom job it.
but what would be so much easier is a universal phone holder that extends wide enough and just clips to heater vent, obviously they dont exist!
