Default tyre pressures on newage

Hi all,

have a newage sti with 18" pirelli p7000 215/35. What should the correct tyre pressures be front and rear? its a JDM so I don't have a handbook and all the writing is in Japanese. Somewhere around the 34psi mark? Front/rear?

Thanks

John

2.3= 33.35874 psi
2.2= 31.90836

34/32 front rear split?
Thanks Namron, I'm gonna take up some garage forecourt space.

Depends how much flex in the tyre sidewall. I run 36psi front, 34 back. 32 is quite low.

Ill give both a bash. I've heard people say that garage inflators are a bit innacurate, any thoughts. Was thinking of a foot one from halfords or such but are the guages likely to be any more accurate?

Thanks

Buy a digital tyre pressure gauge-they are pretty cheap these days, and use the garage air line,saves the leg work :-)

There is a sticker on the inside of the door that gives you the tyre pressures

2.3 bar front, 1.9 bar rear (as per the recommended figures )
I have no issues with the RE070's running these pressures

225/45's?

What's that on? A Hawkeye or late Blob?
Those tyres don't sound like the right profile for a bug or blob on 100 PCD.

215/35 18?

I put in 33 psi front & 31 psi rear.

That's on 225/40 18.

Winter normally run 30/31 front and 28/30 rear.

Cheers Tony. You seem to end up answering a lot of my JDM questions. All the help is much appreciated.

You still have my tyre pressure gauge anyway mate.
Dunno about jdm but mine has the sticker in the door jamb but its in Kpa so you'll have to do some conversion. Mind you that will be for 17s not 18s i think.

Somewhere, can't think where though. Bugger. I'll blame it on kerry. Went to do this last night and the bloody petrol station was so busy I couldn't get near the thing. I'm riding low at the moment, I thought the bugger was flat on first look.
