Default Worth going T61 on the MD321 T?

Recently sent my turbo off to be checked over (some noise of late and loss of power) by Turbo Dynamics .

Whilst it's being stripped was thinking of going Billet. But is it worth retaining the current internals displacement like the t71 (I think) but just chaning to billet or is it worth going T61 for quicker spool?

Whats the pro's and con's?

If I keep the T71 wheels and go billet would that change the spool at all or just make it more bomb proof?

I'm running 453bhp (part meth of 7%) , 442bhp (v power) , 354 (95 ron) on the turbo on a EJ20 STi AVCS engine.

I think the MD (T) works a treat on this engine with supporting mods but if it can make a few more ponnies yet spool a few RPM quicker that would be a dream.

Would the added expense of the T61 along with cover and anything else really be worth it on a everyday road car with the odd track day in mind?

Have you not asked Turbo Dynamix themselves or your mapper?

Mark @ Lateral would be the man to ask
I went for the new wheel and everything else option, but am being held back by a dodgy lambda senso and NPS at the minute.
