Default Rocker gasket helppp

Ok so spoken to two people 1 said I should use and the other said not to use a gasket sealent on the rocker cover gaskets, I have new Subaru gaskets and was wondering if it's best to seal them in place for extra protection

To use or not to use gasket seal helllppp ?

Yep use it, trust me i have done mine, i used a poor sealant and it didnt work so use the black loctite gasket sealant! I had to do mine twice and you dont want to be doing that.

You should order new bolts and rubber washers for the sake of an extra £20 and seal around them as well, then you really wont need to do it again, and i think they need to be torqued at 5Nm if memory serves me right.
