Only if 1 - You fit an uprated pump and 2 - You still run weak with the standard fuel pressure. Otherwise not much to be gained in my opinion.

thanks for the reply

i was thinking it may be a waste of time. reason i asked though is because my car runs 1.4bar with full 3" system/induction and fuel cut lifter. however, i will be swapping the turbo from the legacy vf11 (think thats what it is) to a tdo5 in about 2wks.
now i have no way of remapping, and was wondering whether it may run lean at top end with this turbo.
still runs really rich at the moment though even with that boost. do you think it will be ok?

cheers

Aye, me like da boost

With the TD05 at 1.4 bar (no doubt you'll try for more ) you are likely to be pushing the std fuel pump. I tried an FSE on the standard pump and it made no difference.... the pump couldn't supply any more pressure at that high flow rate. I tried an uprated pump (powerstation) and the increased flow rate allowed me to adjust fuel pressure to maintain my mixture setting

As you have a 3" system and intake mods it will flow plenty air with the bigger turbo, best make sure you got the fuel
