Hi,

Has anyone on the board with a scoob around MY95 had any problems with leaking water header tanks.... mine seems to be leaking..... no water is overflowing into the overflow.... its just seems to be leaking just before the fans come on.. it leaks around the metal rim if the tank..

Any thoughts would be great..

Unhappy

I seem to remember this problem coming up about a year ago.

I think forge, etc do nice "shiny" ones, but they are a little on the pricey side

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Iain.

Yeah the standard ones are hopless I had the hose from the header tank bloe off while I had the bonnet lifted , spraying boiling water everywhere in the process including all down my arm! I looked at the outlet fitting and it had turned into what id describe as cardboard mush like texture Id say replace it before it lets you down. ( I just made a panel steel one and got it powder coated to match my other engine colour scheme!
