do i need a 3 port boost solenoid?
Hi all. I'm in the middle of collecting parts for my 03 wrx..
I have 550 injectors,
Sti top mount,
Waiting on a vf34
Uprated fuel pump.
Do I need a 3 port boost solenoid. Will it make a difference? What will it actually do?
Thanks jamie

It will help control how the boost comes on and is very much a must have in the mappers eyes as it helps map the car to as best he can.

classic ones work fine just need a small wiring mod that the mapper will do when fitting, I bought a prodrive one for mine as it came with a small interconnecting loom so was just plug and play, but don't think they are easy to find.
