Yep seems cheap mate but probably just a sign off the times ?? you could end up spending the same again on repairs on a car off this age - where was the engine bought from, new mileage on engine etc etc, etc etc !!

knowing how newage cars can eat money personally could not afford to run a car off this age as an everday car !!

That's mad even £1000 for the shell is penny's in my opinion.

I was reading the thread about classics becoming classic cars like 3rd cosworths and they are bound to become classics at some point, this colour and being a 3rd would be a ideal candidate to stash away I think.

i never realised you could get the type r with clear back windows like the p1
unfortunately cars like these are definately a luxury and once they get to this age do require a lot of money to keep going and it does seem that unless you really love them and only use them very seldom , they are just too expensive for most people to justify now .
thats why i think so many are being broken up , people just cant get enough for them as a whole

it does seem remarkably cheap for a sti full stop let alone a 2 door , he is keen to get rid of the shell in a hurry , usually you would sell all the other bits first and if you have show a pic of the shell how the buyer is going to see it .
very strange
i guess they never all came with the ally bonnet either?
