Default mileage

Are there any known issues with imprezas after a certain mileage.
i've read a few threads on here and other forums and there a lots of people who say avoid cars with higher mileage.
i looked at loads when buying mine and was more concerned with the overall condition and servicing history.

I've never been too concerned with mileage providing that the car has been well cared for. Regular services with good oil and generally looked after overall.
I'd be a little more wary if buying and old classic with +100K as so many have fallen into the wrong hands.

Ignore them.

I sold a 05 plate STI earlier this year with 100K on the clock. Ran as sweet as a nut !!! Many people on here were turning their noses up because of the ''high mileage'' even though it had really nice and documented service history.
As far as I know it's still running perfectly. Good engine these newage STI's have, I'm actually running one in my classic.

Hi there

as above mileage can be concern if its car not properly maintained(poor if you want).
Forging engine on your i don't think you are need at moment,if you are running still OE turbo.

Or if you are not looking for 450bhp+ anytime soon, but still OE STi 2.0L are build run above this bhp(450bhp),some running more than 500bhp without the problem 10-20k miles without the problem.

If you want be sure visit your nearest Subaru specialist for health check for sure,if its something wrong he will tell you.
