Flew back from Frankfurt yesterday and it was very clear over the UK. Flew other Saarfend and then cirled over London. How cool is the city from above on a clear night !!!!!!!

Canary Wharf stood out, but the Dome looked very eerie !!

When I came back from Geneva earlier this year, could see the White cliffs of Dover, London and the Isle of wight all at the same time !

London looks exactly like the start of Eastenders, Dont like Eastenders but do have a thing for Ian Beales missus, for a couple of reasons !

I've got some nice piccies of London from the air but I'm b@gg@red if I can find them at the mo'.
Best I can do is this one (bit crap sorry); it's a shot of our weather radar in ground mapping mode - we're tracking North West just left the French coast headed towards the East Sussex/Kent Coast (if you can work it out!!!) at about 24000ft.



London's quite a sight from the air at night - makes you realise what a never-ending, sprawling expanse it all is!!

Have you seen the London satellite a-z? Arial photos altered to remove Earth curvature on parallel pages to the a-z street map. It was 50 quid but you can get it in the cheap bookshops for half that.
