Default Scooby spares

hopefully my search is coming to an end. spoke to scooby spares today who can do me an engine for the Newage. seemed a nice guy but dont know of them, have they got a good reputation? i know they advertise on here. I hope they will not mind me asking the question. just outlaying £1200 to someone I dont know is a worry!

seems a good price though £1150 for complete engine minus turbo plus £50 to post. comes with a new cambelt too.

I don't know much about them but i have been put off by there lack of replying to emails and pm's and they quoted me £60 for a radiator on here then £125 via email!! So I personally won't be enquiring about anything from them again.

Just my opinion.

I have bought some parts from them

Spec C inlet manifold - everything in perfect order.
P1 heads - came with two different type of cams.
Complete 6 speed convertion for classic - came with a R180 rear diff.

The gearbox and heads came on the same pallet, I have send them several PM to get the right cams for the heads and get the R160 diff that they should have sent me. But they totally ignore me and they know I can't do much about it as I Live in Denmark.

Hopefully they are just on vecation and contact me when they return, but I don't think I will ever hear from them.

I,ve had a uprated clutch fitted by them on my last Scoob and I bought a used handbrake cable from them. I would recommend them. Steve.
