Default Aircon Pulley Tensioner

Well, after a great day collecting a set of ramps I won on Ebay for the princely sum of £12, and fitted the genuine white side markers I bought for the bug, I made a boob of epic proportions by not undoing the locking nut before turning the tensioner bolt on the aircon pulley. The tensioner itself is made of plastic, so a couple of turns later it broke!! I bought a new one from the dealer (picking up tomorrow), but just need to know how easy it is to fit! Please tell me its easy!!

Thanks in advance!

v easy to fit. just held on with a bolt.

I had the same problem, but rather going for a standard version, i went for a billet alloy one

Thanks for that, so is it just a case of undoing top two bolts, removing the bottom 'lock' nut and putting the new tensioner on? Is it easy to relocate the bottom pulley when it comes off?

Edited to add: what a mong I am. The pulley is only connected to the metal 'slider'
