Hi i have the chance of a tgv less spec c inlet manifold to fit to my 02 sti uk.

my question is , will it be a direct fit to my sti.

the manifold comes complete with rails etc.

any help would be appreciated

If it has all the fuel lines and reg on then yes it will ,they have an extra temp sensor under the throttle body which you will just need to blank off unless the sensor is still fitted.

 

ill be fitting a fpr and possibly going parralell also , but just wanted to know if it will be a direct fit

Your 02 bug STi is also TGV less ............are you going for a big build ??

Just actually went and checked and there is tgv like housings , but no sensors/motors etc

It's strange that the WRX flavour of UK bug (like mine) has TGV's and also a cat / EGT sensor in the up-pipe...........that's Subaru for you

PS The u-pipe cat and EGT sensor has gone from mine and I've got a TGV less STi manifold in the garage to fit sometime. I'm part of the "should have bought an STi" brigade LOL

 

Oh, just a quick question.........why are you going for parallel rails ?

The Spec C manifold does flow better and is less bulky so is a better option if going for a 3' inlet.

I'm running Parallel rails and you get a much more even fuel pressure across all 4 injectors.

 

I'm running 400 BHP (ish) on a Bug WRX with the TGV's in place so the stock bug inlet isn't that restrictive
