330bhp on a good day, an STI might make 340 bhp that has AVCS to help.
Mine did 340 bhp many years ago, but had a sports cat fitted. Decat will help with the throttle response.
IMHO

P.S. How's your clutch and gearbox is the next question ?

I ran 325 BHP on a TD05 with similar mods but was mapped for safety
You might want to have the headers ported to improve torque

I am currently running 312 with a VF35 and standard intercooler. You should see 330 comfortably with a34 and STI intercooler

Yes will make turbo spool much better than 2ltr and yes is worth £500,if you could source AVCS heads as well will be great mod too.
Yes on 2.1 will turbo spool better and will make higher torque.

I had great fun with my TD05 modded bugeye with some suspension and brake mods..I could always bury the right foot into the carpet without too much worry about something breaking or the car sticking me in a ditch LOL

to run the avcs heads it would also need engine loom, car loom, sti ecu and a lot of time/patience to do it.
The OP should stick with what he has and the vf34 will produce around 330bhp.

I looked into putting AVCS on my bug WRX, I would have to use the wiring from the TGV's and a lot more besides......... See my post 4 if you want to get a bit more torque

Technically he can do via AVCS loom with JDM WRX OE ECU,which can control AVCS,i'm running this on mine 2.1 build.
Yes agree,if budget is tight i would stick with this which have right now.
