I've just seen the advert for tomorrows 5th Gear on Channel 5. Tiff Nedell is pitting the Sti against the Evo......should be good viewing material (sorry if this is old news)

It was just by chance that I caught the Ad, and had I have missed this episode I'd have shouted, very loudly, maybe even something like "Oh Bollards..."

 

Yeah, Agreed. Don't want to end up looking at the wrong end of the evo for too long, if you catch my drift..

I couldn't believe the way that Tiff was throwing those 4x4s around last week hust hope he drives these cars with the same commitment

Should be great TV if Mr.Needell is driving. However, when/if he proclaims the Evo7 a better drivers car etc etc, PLEASE let's not have the pages of contrite drivel that followed the Driven programme!

FFS, the Evo is probably a better car, but if you enjoy your STI7 that's great. Just don't get all hurt because a TV presenter prefers something other than the Subaru.

Had a look on the Channel 5 website to see if there was any information on the programme. Couldn't find any but noticed there were a number of really uninteresting pics ... like this one of Tiff havnig a cup of tea in the STi

On the final verdict on the impreza one. Tiff calls the Evo, faster and more focused track car, but the impreza is the more all rounder and has a more exclusive look and give live with day to day..

Which is what we already knew...
