Hi all,

Does anyone know if the JPN spec MY2001 "STI-S" has the HID lights, smoked windows and LSD in front. I know it does not have a stereo a friend is looking at purchasing one and wants to be sure it has the LSD mainly. Thank goodness I got the STI-GL

Razor I'm having similar problems trying to make sure the JDM STi I 'm buying has Suretrac.As far as I can gather if its got HIDs and smoked rear glass its got the front LSD.This info is probably from the same sites as you've used.I rang a number of UK import dealers and none of them were really sure.I have no idea about the S version.I'm sure that was of no help at all!

Never hear of STi-S.
The only special STi for the new age, as far as I'm aware of, is the STi-RA Spec C & the STi Prodrive Style.

 

Yea man there is a STI-S. It is even listed on the web site I posted above. It is a JPN spec. Still trying to get a final answer if it has the front LSD and, high definition headlights and smoked rear windows

I think u have to check the car very carefully, as the Suretrac is an option on the STi S.
