For those not wanting to travel all the way to Cheltenham I have arranged a day at Power Engineering on the 14th April.

Not going for any magazine coverage, although if someone wants to organise it its up to them.

Cost £30 inc VAT and hopefully Bacon Butty

Please let me know if you want to come along with details of car and mods. I'll also make sure a couple of other non Jap 4wd cars come to compare against.

It would be nice to see some new WRX's and a couple of P1's.

Cheers

Jonathan

To all those that have stated an interest in the last few days, I'll look and check the numbers tonight. Should be OK, but Ive still to hear from a couple of people.

Rolling Road Accuracy

There is always going to be differences. shawn and the powerstation pose always will state the accuracy of PS. They tend to use the Cossie as the basemark there.

On PE's rollers I recently organised an Audi day. All the cars struggled to meet factory numbers on a VERY cold day. Most STI's/P1's and P1's in STD form make just over factory numbers on bhp, but dont make it on Torque at PE. Its only the UK cars that can we way above the numbers - Andy's car being a good example. I would hate to take any Audi to PS. If its below at PE they would be 20bhp down on manufacturers figures at PS.

As Andy says at the end of the day its fun running your car against others on the same day. Both PS and PE are great sets of guys who know their stuff.

Jonathan

I'll take my S3 as a benchmark

Andy Tang,

I thought that was quite funny, so Power station gave u 240 bhp. So u want a more inflated figure to make u happy? Why not go get more actual horsepower and then go back to power station and therefore u will note the increase. No point in kidding yourself.

Looks like I forgot to add a to my comments!!

Although everyone is aware of the differences between some of the rolling roads.

I treat rolling road days as a bit of fun, but use them seriously when checking fuelling, det, boost levels, etc.

Recently I was at PE to get a comparison between my standard ECU and the PPP ECU.

Since my first comment, I've been a bit carried away with the modifying bug!!!

I think when I go back to PowerStation, I will have more than 240bhp!!

I have no issues with either of the rolling roads, and am happy to use both.

Take my comments any way you wish!
Andy

i see the bous of a smiley...

its just that on my local rolling road my car makes 195 at the wheels. they are renowned for straight up figures on a loaded rolling road.

People who claim 300 at the flywheel get regularily tanned by my car.

Sounds like power station figures are also reasonbly realistic!

i take ur comments the correct way now
