Thanks for that, I only want to replace like for like so I don't have to have a remap but I'm unsure if this is just scare mongering!

If its your exhaust Apeexi N1,here is it,expensive

If you are just replacing your N1 to new one N1,you don't need any remap.

Jura do you know that if I replace the exhaust from the headers for the same 2.5" and 5" backbox why would I need a remap?

I would be quite happy with a Ninja system but the apexi is like one piece from exhaust backbox to header whereas most other systems you buy the backbox and centre section.

I'm confuse as to what consistutes the need for a remap if you replacing for the same size system ie. 2.5"

Maybe just tweak of map(is cheaper than whole remap),but mainly depends on more factors than exhaust size.
But if everything is same like your ex exhaust(N1) on new one(size i assume is same, length and backbox size is same),you should be OK without the remap or if your car has been all ready mapped, tweak can be needed, but still think you should be OK without tweak or remap.

For peace of mind you can visit RR(Rolling road),where can do Det test,AFR test too.

Will fit too on Classic, just one hanger on backbox will not fit, which can be rewelded on correct place.
