Default tips on changing turbo please!

im looking at swapping my turbo tomorrow as my old one is buggered. im doing a straight swap td05 20g. im looking for some tips and things to look out for. like do i have to drain cooling system or can i block it off. any help would be great as this will be my first turbo install.

i'd nip out now and soak all the studs and nuts with wd40.

Have an old spark plug handy, when you take the water feed pipe off jam the spark plug into the hose. Fits a treat.
And as said above, get your wd40 out tonight and soak those nuts, lol.

i just swapped mine yesterday, its no biggie really.

you just need a good socket set with a breaker bar., remember where everthing goes or take photos,

type ' replace impreza turbo ' into google , top answer ehow has a pretty good step through guide.
