Had a cam sensor go on my bugeye but the CEL light came on solid not flashing and went off after 4 or 5 clean starts.

I've also had the flashing CEL ,quite a slow flash when pulling hard up hill.Sometimes would stay on solid. This brought up code 20B1 <no code> which seems to interpret as a missfire. Some indications seem to be the "neutral position switch" which I have now changed.

They replaced 3 cam sensors on mine (MY02) under warranty, none were actually faulty when tested though, just the lamp was flashing and then became solid. Occasionally the light comes on now (same error) and I just get them to reset it.

Try Richard @ FB Tuning, He's very good and cheaper than a main dealer.

The cam sensor code is common on buyeyes and there is usually no fault and caused when you give it some "big licks" ie drive it hard to limiter. Your best buying a fault code reader for about £60 and then you can reset the light yourself

Second one also does VAG air bags lights etc.

Both are good decent qaulity. Not as many functions as the expensive Snap-On ones etc but well worth £60. I have the VAG one and it works faultlessly.
