Does petrol go off?
I'm talking days here and not years
The reason i ask is that lately when i get down to below half a tank the car does'nt seem as urgent as it usually does and then when i fill up again (Optimax+NF) its flies again
Now i know i'm not imagining it and temperature conditions don't come into it, so i must be going mad then

yep the men in white coats will be coming for you soon
but seriously i know that you get a lot of ****e at the bottom of the tank with diesel so its not a good idea to go to low on a tank.
Maybe you need youre tank cleaning out???.

petrol does go off esspecially high octane fuel like we all use (optimax)its the additives they put in to raise the actane rating that goes off , but i would not have thought it would go off in the time it would take to use half a tank ?
i fill up around 2-3 times aweek so mine never gets chance to go off
