Has anyone had this? I pulled up at the lights earlier and it just cut out. Threatened to do so again a couple of times too. It sal at 900 rmp for a second, then dropped right off.

Any ideas?

Its either your idle solenoid sticking on the throttle body or your MAF sensor on its way out.

I had this recently, and when I was at Power Eng Merv said it was the MAF shot as well as the lambda, but it has now cured itself amd idle is back to normal.

Whilst I was having the problems I stuck it on the emissions tester at the garage and managed 9% CO output - nice

Last time I spoke with Dave Power he thought it might have been dirt on the MAF which is now cleared so hence the recovery.

If it doesn't clear might be worth a trip to PE for some diagnaostic work.
