Say a sti in the fore court near me and puled over to see what it was it it had a small sticker on each side and a grill badge uk300 the fella said it was one etc. how can you tell ? and it was on the court for £4600 he said he would give me £3200 for mine against that, i was not convinced though it was a uk300,
Asked if it said it on the log book and his reply was they dont tell you on the log book,

Just seemed wired really

 

Shouldn't it have a badge and build number ?

UK300 is a Bugeye WRX, not an STI.
WRX300 is a Blobeye WRX, again not an STI

 

uk 300 can be a bugeye ,, it will have a rear prodrive spoiler , boot badge uk300 , yes a build no plaque , uk 300 on both wings under the indicaters , it will have blue sti seats but without sti embossed in them , also prodrive rally lights at front , 18 inch gold wheels , only comes in world rally blue ! may have the optional ppp fitted too !! hope this helps !

 

Just to add to the above the Bug UK300 is based on the WRX and has a build number on a plaque inside..

+1 subaru didnt make a uk300 sti. the sti was type uk and the wrx was uk300

 

as above plaque with number,front lights are a dead giveway on the bug with them being black and the blue alcantara seats etc uk300 badged also any of this stuff missing etc its more than likely a fake

 

oh and neil mind if your thinking bout getting rid of your bug i will have the stiffis!!

This uk 300 had the brembo calipers and the standard interior nothing really sound uk300 about it. so staying away i think from it
