Rather than take something which looks **** and cover it with carbon to look good, hows about they just design something that looks good to begin with?

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Like it or not the classic Impreza is an icon, whereas the hatchback is not and never will be.

Let's face it, Subaru never made the most beautiful of cars but you don't buy them for their beauty, do you?
Why always the endless argument which one is more beautiful?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Well you're not really in a psoition to judge are you seeing as, all joking aisde, you are driving one of the world's ugliest cars!!!

The iconic image of an Impreza is Colin McRae in the classic shape saloon blatting over a rally stage, it is not some 40 something wannabe rally driver taking his best years behind her wife and 2.2 kids out to McDonalds in the b4stard child of a Ford Foucus and the ugly stick with STI badges stuck all over it.

Here endeth the lesson!

No, you're right - they've never made a beautiful car.
But those classic blinkered boys can't see that

Wise up - colin mcrae.
What ******* age you

I've owned every shape of Impreza, so I think I'm better placed to judge them

How many rust holes are on your shed anyway
All this bad weather must be a nightmare for it.

So all Imprezas are ugly, but some are way more ugly than others?

The one advantage of the hatchback is it made me realise the bugeye is actually not a bad looking car... relatievly speaking

Indeed - tis funny though.
Its a bit like the people that say - Oh, I met such and such when I was 15.
We've been together since then.

Imagine how bloody boring that must be - only one sexual partner having not known anything else

Option to call it an icon.... was it really that difficult to understand?

So you think it's old hat. Bully for you. It is dated and old fashioned in some ways, but I like it and that is all that matters.

Anyway none of that changes the fact that the hatch is a monumental failure of a car - just look at the sales figures LOL!

Post them up then. I think you will find that for the UK at least they are woeful! Even adjusting them for the recesion I think only Renault have seen more of a downturn.

Yep, sales figures have been horse ****... but that can be said of a lot of high C02 cars since 2008. But i like it and that's all that matters

Nothing to do with financial crisis and general feeling of 'omg its a recession, or something' for the last couple of years. Nah, nothing to do with that at all. Oh wait, just forgot, this is coming from the chap who is the authority on all things new age

As said above even after adjusting for the recession Subaru are only better than Renault. Do wish you would learn to read.

subaru americas sales were up 14% mainly foresters n outbacks but still cool.

Cant judge a renault now there just french turd, being French make it pants ( never forgive em since they blocked our fishemen and farmers )
