I don't know if I'm just a bit dim (no pun intended), but I keep setting off to work in the morning, to realise about 5 miles down the road that my lights are still on from the night before.

I've come from a series of UK/Euro cars where warning buzzers remind you to switch off when getting out. Anyone had the same problem ? Suggest a cure ?

fit an after-market warning buzzer ? Accesory shops certainly used to have 'em.

Lights are good anyway, they clear the traffic on the dual carriageway

Why bother turning them off? There's no law (AFAIK) that says you have to.

They make you more visible, which can only be a good thing.

In some other countries (e.g. Sweden, Denmark), it's law that you have to have them on all the time, because of the above reason.

And yes, I drive around with mine on all the time. Deliberately.

Never turn mine off either. Car still seems invisible to the odd k-*** on the road though

I have that problem too! I'm concerned about flattening the battery if I leave the car with the radio on etc. I flattened the battery once by accidentally leaving the aircon and radio on whilst I unpacked the boot on holiday.

Surely if you take the keys out, nothing can be left on? Used to be the case in my UK MY98. Not so in the Eunos (thanks Jim & Sal )

Steve.
