Default Need a new battery!

Hi, i need some advice, i own a 06 STI, the battery on my car seems to be turning over quite slow, it's being doing it for a while and got slightly worse in the cold weather.

I'm going to fit a new battery.

What i was wondering is STI fitted with a lighter than normal Battery as standard? and if so where would i get one from?
I think main dealer would quite expensive.

Any help would be appreciated, Cheers Paul.

I had an Exide battery at the beginning of the year but that gave up the ghost after 5months

Replaced it with the Bosch and no problems (yet)

Tried a battery CHARGER before you swap the battery? It might just want a boost.

Last time round i brought a calcium battery for my Scooby from halfords - there pricey but really good, specially if you like to have loads of electrical goodies in the car.

My battery just gave up on my 04, bought a new one from my local motor factors. Cost me £56 for a heavy duty one, much more reasurring to get a new battery, when a battery dies on me, i just replace, dont like the idea of trying to charge an old battery. Piece of mind just for me
