Did anybody catch channel 5's new car programe? No points for origionality.

Anyway, the good news is that they are doing a feature on the WRX STi V's Evo VII FQ300.

Lets see if they can do it more honestly that Driven.

 

It will end in tears. Think about it. The FQ300 is even faster than a standard Evo 7 and the standard Evo's handling is better than a standard STi. All reports say that. Therefore, I am sure this will end up as another "Driven" like, million post whing.

Why can't people just accept that the Scooby and Evo are both good cars, just different.

 

I think most people here agree the Evo 7 is a better car. The point about Driven was the way which they made this assumption with the now infamous 'staged' overtaking of the CTR in the STi whilst the Evo was allowed to blitz past. The obvious way in which it was edited with cameras on the bonnet in one shot and then gone in another. All we ask for is some accuracy and fairness.

to be honest I thought the whole program was cr*p that bit about the sunny was utter sh1te (too short and uninformative) and the rest was a load of boring old b0llocks [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] when are we going to get decent motoring programs?????

It dosent say when they are going to air this feature biut i would have thought it would be soon.

I still think I'd rather have the Viper over the sunny no matter how fast it is!!!!!!
