I've just put a deposit on a 1993 WRX and will pick it up next week. The car looks immaculate and runs great. All the paperwork seems to be in order but as it has just been imported i'm not too sure on the process. The garage say it has been tested by the vehicle inspectorate and have the certificates. The car does not have plates yet but the garage say they will regester it now they have a buyer. It will then have its MOT and will be ready next week. It has all its history before its import but its in Japanese.

Has anyone gone through a similar process when buying a WRX and does this sound ok?
I would appreciate any replies to put my mind at rest.

 

yep thats it .because they did not reg it you will be the first owner
