Well guys, it's a sad day, but I'm about to say farewell to my P1. That son of a bitch Gordon Brown has got his way and his new tax rules (and the inefficiency of the P1) means it's got to go.

The new car? A Saab 95 Aero!

The P1 will be a hard act to follow but I have to say, I'm very pleased with the Saab. 250Bhp, 350Nm torque, leather trim plus tons of toys for half the tax liability of the P1.



How much was the SAAB? Well, not an awful lot more that a standard WRX - now there's value for money!

If anyone's interested in the P1, it will be at Storm SAAB in Northampton this weekend only for sensible money. Take a look and speak to Jonathon there if you're interested.

I'll still be lurking on scoobynet though. This is an excellent forum and much more interesting than the SAAB one

Nice looking saab,shame to loose the p1 though. I came out of the company car thingey in november for the same reason and bought the previous scoob at a low price.
