Why do i see more Green Scoob's than any other colour on the road?
I want a blue (not dark blue) scoob my-self but dont see many for sale. Many see green and silver ones.

I want to turn mine, when i get one into a WRC replica. i know im a tart

 

Apparently green is the genius's colour of choice (dunno where they get that from).
The line i was given when trying to source a new WR Blue WRX was...
all the UK300s were blue and the majority of the STIs will be blue so Subaru were limiting the number of blue WRXs brought into the country.
I ended up having to buy one 6months old.

I would say that DBM is the most popular followd by Sonic Blue, followed by Silver. Seen heck of lot of white scoob's lately although green is popular as well.

 

I hadn't seen many green ones when I ordered mine, almost wish I'd gone for a less common colour - wonder what a pearlescent purple-ish paint job would do to the resale value?!?!?

 

I personally think green is awful, and I wouldn't buy one.

Green MY01/02s are very uncommon... only know of six now.

 

Paul: ref All UK300's will be blue: there's a maroon one knocking around herts at the moment. Does look better in blue though.

 

i too was after a blue (not dark blue) MY00, i had to get an imported one cos the blue (sonic blue) colour was not a UK colour.

 

sonic blue is a good colour

 

Mine is a light mettalic green, it's Ok, because i've never actually seen another impreza in that colour it's nice to be a bit different.

Green is the best by far, I see a few of all the other colours, but I have the only green one, where I live.

Yeh seen loads of green scoobs, i have a green anti fetish, simply hate all things green.

Could say im a greenist lol, no scoobs have to be blue, white and silver are allowed, red if its a tart with big white aloys LOL

You may be interested to know that to the Cornish, green cars are bad luck! I had a mate with a green car, who out of the kindness of his heart, stopped on a rainy day for a guy who was hitching, only to be told "no thanks" due to the colour of the car.

No offence to the Cornish - mainly because I am one myself!

Got to admit that I love the green on the Scooby and it is one of the best colours going but you cant beet the TERZO/22B/WRC blue though can you! I actually thought green was quite rare as I havent seen many about, HONEST!

 

I've gotta say, i do like my green. But i agree the terzo, p1 & 22b blue is by far the nicest.

 

what colour are thes TERZO/22B/WRC. i know they are blue but what blue are they. e.g. sonic blue?

 

Ray yep they are sonic blue (74F), that colour was available on normal scoobs in Europe (Ireland I think) and Japan.

Green is definitely the best Scooby colour. It looks good in daylight and/or moonlight .... So there!

 

i got a mica green one. There are 2 dark blue MY00's in the carpark, one light blue 01, occasionally 1 black on and 1 white one. The local Subaru dealership is packed with blue cars.
