Default PPG or whats the other option?

Need to look at gearbox options for the RA as its got a synchro problem on 4th. Not a massive problem and I will change it out at some point over the winter.
However, I see a few PPG boxes coming up now and then.
Straight cut 1st and 2nd with Heli 3rd and 4th, UK 5th.
Going for around 2K, seems okay.

What are the other options as I will be looking at using the car competitively in the future, probably Tarmac initially but ultimately the forest.

Is anyone else doing small time rallying using the PPG or other options?

Thanks in advance

jamie

Jamie, give Steve Whitson a shout, I believe he has (or will soon have) a Straight cut 1st and 2nd with Heli 3rd and 4th, UK 5th up for grabs from his brothers car which is being broken or something.

just get a a six speed box and fit and forget and if your doing a bit of rally make sure you geta dccd six speed my six speed jap box is like an old ra box but then you have the 6th gear which make it run on the motorway just liek the old five speed 70 mph at 3 grand
