Hi
Yes I have used these loads of times , as they are a radially mounted caliper they are easy to fit on other cars.
I can make you a 2 piece 330mm disc and bell and bracket to fit , you would be looking at £495
Cheers Ian

Cheers for the link m8
I have a problem now though
I want to spend more money now on those lightweight AP Brakes lol
Basically what I need is a descent set of brakes for around 350bhp for when the car is remapped. My first thought was to get a set of front and rear gold Brembo with some descent pads and grooved discs and some braided hoses.
The thing is I look into getting an 18g in the future and get around the 400bhp mark. So will the Brembo set up i have mentioned above cope with the 400bhp, or would I be better investing a bit more on a descent big brake conversion?

Hi Ian just noticed your reply. The main reason i asked this question is because i was wandering if it would be cheaper to use Cupra R brakes, than the STI ones, as the Cupra R brakes seem to go for less money. But if I have brackets made would this make it more expensive than simply fitting the STI brakes?
Gold Brembos will do the job but what are you planing to do with the 400 bhp fast road cars or track toy, if track toy they will do the job but don't think they would last long if a regular thing, but im no mechanic.

The Sti calipers and pads are larger than the Cupra calipers , so would give you more braking power , but the Sti calipers have problems fitting under a lot of wheels
If you have room in your wheels , I would go with the STi gold brembo's
Cheers Ian

I think you better revise your turbo choice for 400hp, as a 18g will not make 400. A decent set of subaru 4 pots with decent discs and pads will stop you, thats what im using at the minute. Ive sent godspeed 2 msgs in the last month looking for prices on brake components but have never heard back, so im now tryin ebc to see what they can come up with. Hopefully they can sort me out with the new bluestuff pads, to see what there like.

Your engine won't take 400bhp withoutthrowing lots of cash at it (well lots of cash at the car really, and in that I mean 10k+).
I would speak with Ian, he is a very helpful chap

Ian: is this a reasonable ball-park figure for any radially mounted caliper adapter and 330mm bell/disc kit?
