No mention of miles, miles since rebuild, or service history, would also be asking what it was imported as, what condition as there is a rating for this.

Also who rebuilt it and what was done.

It looks very nice, just need to confirm a few things

I know I would'nt buy this one as he seems to think that a BaileyS dump valve and two oil changes are enough to give it an extra 80+ BHP.

Unless you're tracking the car then even if it was 120 it wouldn't be a problem would it?

If I didn't do much motorway driving then I'd prefer quicker acceleration every time you put your foot down instead of a top speed most people don't get to use.

Wrx and ra are group 20 as well. AFAIK nearly all imports are group 20.

Uk cars are 17. Imports are 20. Parkers wouldn`t have the groups for jdm cars in there.

Scoob is not really about top end, likely to max out at 140 and not for long due to turbulence around the intercooler/bonnet scoop and the engine going pop.

Scoob is more about acceleration and good confidence inspiring handling with the power to make it an entertaining drive.

If you want something to match a vectra gsi on top end then i suggest you get a vectra gsi or similar

I would think really hard about buying this one, the guy doesnt even know which oil to put in and must never look in the handbook (you cannot miss the HUGE warning about running a 5w30 oil in a classic), its one of the main causes of engine failures, especially if you rag em

Let me have a look around for you

Tony

Low miles, virtually standard
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1973674.htm

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1791529.htm

Higher miles but looks ok, not sure if part sh or not.
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1773246.htm

Pics would be nice on this one....
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1960657.htm

Also a bit newer
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1902339.htm

White is rare, shame it only has part sh but just had £800 quid spent on a service and 1 owner from new (that alone may be worth looking at)

I look forward to your inevitable "done for 120+ on motorway
what are my chances?", or "engine gone bang, how much for a rebuild?" post.

Good advice, freely given - ignore it at your cost.

Perhaps you should now pick your toys up and put them back on your pram.

Hardy a snide post at all (spot the smilies) , wind your neck in a bit, you come on here asking for advice, you got some. If you are worried about vectra GSI's and top speed then fit a K&N and a superchip to the 1.6 whatever and i am sure it will be an easy match!

Enjoy SN and try not to take offence so easily
