If you going to paint them after don't get sand blasted, they come up rough and will require alot of sanding after. Better off finding someone that will bead blast if you are going to paint. Of course it doesn't matter if your having them Powder coated.

I had a set done local, chaged £10 a wheel to sand blast. Have a look in the yellow pages

I know it's a distance, but give castell coatings in caerfilly a call. I can have them dropped off there for you if you want.

Also, Tyron knows of a local company (in Gorseinon I think) who do bead blasting. I'm sure he'll post it up when he comes online.

Just had my Superleggeras done by Castle Coatings. Ask for Ray. £150 all in for a bead blast, powder coat and clear coat to finish off.

I have gone for a completly left field colour but they will only be used for commuting and fun.

Secret to a good finish is preparation dude, spend time sanding them down and cleaning them up and you'll be laughing. Followed by light coats of paint and gently build up the layers

Hoping that Steve may do the prep I will just do the painting then. I've done them quickly for the weekend so we will see what happens.
