Hi,
can somebody tell me which dump valve makes the best wooooosh sound when letting off throttle for best value for your money. I saw a rather sexy WRX the other day sounding great, assumed the woosh was from the dump valve.

Any comments greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

People can hear my dump valve when they are driving in front of me and with music on! Known to make people jump and turn around as well.

HKS SQV as mentioned by Peccy!

Looks very impressive for those bonnet up moments as well!

The sound does vary on the amount of load the car is under and what you are doing. Lifting off quickly gets a different whoosh to a relaxed lift off. I even managed a chattering whoosh recently which was very cool.

try www.turbosmart.com they have a dump valve called the supersonic, it is meant to be the loudest dump valve for the subaru. 3 times louder than the hks. it costs around 240. ive ordered 1 through recommendation. its meant to be scary! if you like that sort of thing.

Cool

As an alternative you could try a Graham Goode Induction Kit a bit expensive. I run a standard recirc dump with a hybrid turbo on a jap sti and it is fu*kin LOUD!! also as a bonus you can hear the turbo spooling up all the way to full boost.

Its sounds like a supercharger screaming!!!!

Ask CRAFT is has heard it..

PS cheers CRAFT the power steering RES still okay!!!
