Hi all it's been a while since I sold my wrx and the bug has bitten again so I have been looking and dropped on this

the question is does anyone outthere know of the car and should I buy it any advice is welcome. Cheers in advance Danny.

Car looks ok. But only an idiot would insure it as a GL.

Well its not a version 6 as its a wrx, then its also an MY99 car, forget about the GL crap, if its a WRX then it should be registered as a WRX and insured as such, so straight away it puts me off the owner.
BHP will be 276 (280ps), it cant have both ac and climate control its one or the other (normally climate control), the induction kit will kill the maf sensor, that can lead to engine failure (dump valve can stay on the floor, thats all its good for )
No sign of any service history, can be off putting, and no price, also off putting as he may well want far more than its worth (about 3.5k).

PS, mileage is more like 101k miles, not 89k miles if you convert it from 162k km.

Well I have a 99 e46 BMW 320d which is worth about 1500 and he'll take 400 on top.

I would get it checked out by a local subaru speciallist first if you can, if he is willing to take it there and you pay, will cost you about an hours labour, that should prove if its ok or not.
Oh and see how much your insurance will be!

ive got a red wrx,a 94,engine mint,done 90km,still limited to 112mph,ive had it 3 years,looked after right,belts been done,including tensioner,mot'ed taxed till end of month,closed deck block(well,hash markings are there)bodywork has no rust,but has dings,it will be up for sale for a week or two,or iam braking it.
