Default same old cutting out on load problem

can anyone help. i have a 96 sti ver3 impreza. on load its jerkiing and cutting as if overboosting this occurs from 0.5 bar up. sometimes it shows 1.3 bar which iknow is too high. but most of the time doesnt go over 1.1 bar. if i use gradual acceleration it will climb thru the rev range no problem. also on occasion after a spirited drive if i stop the engine then try to restart within say 10-15 mins it just turns over without firing. Ths cutting problem has occured since the last time it failed to start after a drive a couple of weeks ago. i have cleaned the bcs and connecting pipes all seems clean. i did disconnect the pipes from actuator to tee to turbo and replace with a single pipe and blocked the pipe to bcs this made it drive fine but only boosting to 0.6 bar max which would be expected but was faultless i also tried disconnecting the 2 pipes to bcs and joining them to bypass it but it still ran like crap. any ideas? its driving me nuts!

Have you noticed any engine lights? Also is the car consuming more fuel? It may be a dodgy crank sensor.

u checked the pipe from the airbox to the turbo, mine split near the turbo at the bottom. kept makin in run lumpy on tick over and it used to back off on full boost, it was peeking at 1.5 bar which caused head gasket to go lol. so check that matey.
